RA096 - Red Army Soldier with PPSh-41 Advancing | King & Country

This advancing Red Army soldier represents Soviet infantry during the winter fighting of 1944–45 on the Eastern Front.

Part of the Heritage Classics collection, the figure depicts a soldier equipped with the widely used PPSh-41 submachine gun, one of the most recognisable Soviet infantry weapons of the Second World War.

He advances with his PPSh-41 in one hand while carrying a Soviet stick grenade in the other, portraying an infantryman prepared for close-range combat.

The combination of weapons distinguishes this figure from the riflemen in the same release group and provides collectors with additional variety when assembling a Soviet infantry formation.

RA096 can be displayed alongside the Red Army Squad Leader (RA093), the advancing riflemen and other submachine-gunners to build a coordinated squad.

It is also suitable for positioning near the SU-122 Self-Propelled Howitzer (RA092), creating a scene that represents Soviet infantry advancing with mobile artillery support.
