RA097 - Red Army Soldier with PPSh-41 Moving Forward | King & Country
RA097 represents a Soviet infantryman cautiously moving forward during the winter campaigns of the Second World War.
The figure belongs to the Heritage Classics collection, depicting Red Army soldiers operating during the later stages of the fighting on the Eastern Front.
Armed with a PPSh-41 submachine gun, the soldier is portrayed advancing carefully while remaining alert to his surroundings.
His guarded movement contrasts with the more direct advancing poses of other figures in the collection, allowing collectors to create a varied group of Soviet infantrymen rather than a uniform line of troops.
The figure can be positioned beside a wall, building or armoured vehicle to suggest infantry moving through defended territory.
It also complements the SU-122 Self-Propelled Howitzer (RA092) and the other Red Army winter releases, providing another option for displaying infantry in support of Soviet mobile artillery.
Now available from The Military Workshop.
