CS5V-14 – Two Infantry Standing – 5th Virginia Regiment, Army of the Shenandoah

Before the name Stonewall Brigade entered Civil War legend, these Virginia regiments formed part of the Army of the Shenandoah commanded by Joseph E. Johnston.

In July 1861, the troops were transported east to reinforce Confederate forces near Manassas, where Jackson and his brigade would gain lasting fame.

CS5V-14 presents two 5th Virginia infantrymen standing, making the pair ideal for depicting the regiment during this formative early-war period.
